Bernoulli Announces Best Research Paper Award from AAMI Journal
Bernoulli educates market on clinical surveillance with award winning research project, podcast, and new eBook
Milford, CT—May 8, 2018— Bernoulli, a leader in real-time connected healthcare, is honored to announce that the Editorial Board from Biomedical Instrumentation & Technology (BI&T), the peer-reviewed journal for Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), has awarded a writing team from Bernoulli and Virtua Health with Best Research Paper of 2017 for their publication: “Continuous Surveillance of Sleep Apnea Patients in a Medical-Surgical Unit”. The research paper was published in the May/June 2017 issue of BI&T. According to the BI&T Editorial Board, “This paper is an important contribution to the literature on safe and effective methods for detecting opioid-induced respiratory depression.”

Spyglass has issued its own independent study, “Trends in Clinical Surveillance and Analytics 2018”. PPAHS has released this clinical education podcast on improving patient safety and reducing alarm fatigue. Entitled, “Improving patient Safety and Reducing Alarm Fatigue: The Right and Wrong Way to Use Continuous Surveillance Monitoring”, the podcast is hosted by a distinguished panel of experts including Leah Baron, MD, of Virtua Memorial Hospital, Maria Cvach, DNP, RN, FAAN at Johns Hopkins Health System, and Marc Schlesinger, RRT, MVA, FACHE of ECRI Institute.
